Born in Hackney, to parents from the Caribbean, he grew up in Leyton.
And is an author, educator and sports coach.
The Leyton Freedom Walk will look at the development of Leyton into the multi-faith, multi-ethnic community we know so well.
Meeting Point Leyton Great Hall (Formerly Leyton Town Hall), High Road, Leyton E10.

Finish Time 3 pm
His book Freedom Walk will be on sale at the walk. Freedom Walks and related activities are not for profit, so any money raised will go to community organisations in Waltham Forest such as Food banks.
